Retreat. Success.

Mountain under heaven: the image of Retreat. Thus the superior man keeps the small men at a distance, not by showing enmity but by his own dignity.

Retreat at tail - dangerous.

At the tail of the retreat, this is dangerous. One must not wish to undertake anything.

Six second

Hold fast with oxhide.

He holds him fast with yellow oxhide. No one can tear him loose.

Nine third

Entangled retreat - dangerous.

A halted retreat is dangerous and distressing. To keep people and servants is fortunate.

Nine fourth

Voluntary retreat - noble good.

A voluntary retreat brings good fortune to the superior man, but the inferior man cannot attain this.

Nine fifth

Perfect retreat - persevere, fortune.

A retreat carried out in a friendly manner brings good fortune. Perseverance brings good fortune.

Nine above

Great retreat - all favorable.

A cheerful retreat brings good fortune in every respect. It is favorable to set forth.
