Judgment

Great power. Perseverance.

Thunder above heaven: the image of Great Power. Thus the superior man does not tread upon paths that do not accord with propriety.

Nine at start

Strength in toes - advance misfortune.

Power in the toes. Going forward brings misfortune. This is certainly true.

Nine second

Perseverance - fortune.

Perseverance brings good fortune.

Nine third

Petty use strength - ram butting fence.

The inferior man uses power, the superior man does not. If he acts, it is dangerous. The goat butts against a hedge and gets its horns entangled.

Nine fourth

Fence opens, horns freed - fortune.

Perseverance brings good fortune. Regret disappears. The hedge opens; there is no entanglement. Power depends on the axle of a big cart.

Six fifth

Lose goat in field - no regret.

Loses the goat in the neighborhood. No regret.

Six above

Ram stuck - cannot advance or retreat.

A goat butts against a hedge. It cannot go backward, it cannot go forward. Nothing serves to further. If one notes the difficulty, this brings good fortune.
