The lake rises up to heaven: the image of Breakthrough. The superior man bestows blessings upon those below and avoids resting on his virtue.

Strong forefoot - advancing loses. Blame.
The front toes are strong. Going forward rashly without success brings misfortune—do not advance recklessly.
Warning calls - armed guards. Dont worry.
A cry of alarm. Even if there is war at night, there is no cause for anxiety—preparedness prevents disaster.
Strong cheekbones - misfortune.
The cheekbones are strong (anger shows on the face). Misfortune. The superior man resolutely walks alone. Caught in the rain, he is drenched, but though annoyed, no misfortune.
No skin on buttocks - difficult walk.
The buttocks have no skin; one cannot sit or walk steadily. Leading a sheep, regret disappears. But hearing advice, one does not believe it.
Decisive as cutting purslane - no blame.
Resolutely remove the petty person like cutting through a mallow. Holding to the mean brings no misfortune.
No response - final misfortune.
No one responds to the cry. In the end, misfortune—the end of the road.
