Meeting an opponent, now beating the drum, now stopping, now weeping, now singing. — An unsettled mind leads to erratic words and actions.

Moon nearly full - horse vanishes. No blame.

The moon nearly full, the horse is lost, no blame. — Not seeking perfection brings no fault.

Sincere and united - no blame.

Bound closely with sincerity, no blame. — The cohesive power of sincerity.

Cockcrow reaches heaven - danger.

A bird flies high, its cry reaches heaven. Perseverance brings danger. — Fame exceeding reality brings peril.
